Directions:

Always perform an allergy test and strand test prior to using the hair colour. Mix small amounts of each of the hair colour ingredients (equal amounts) and apply to the skin on your elbow. Wait 48 hours to see if you have adverse reactions. Be careful not to wash it off! Use the remaining mixture for a strand test. Take a small cutting from your hair, around 1 inch from the root, underneath the crown, and apply the hair colour to this hair. Leave for the recommended time indicated on your hair colour product. Finally, rinse off the strand and dry it. Look at the strand.

Applying the Colour :

1. Using the expert precision brush, apply the colour at the hairline of the sections into which you divided your hair.
2. Apply the colour around the face, part, and at the temples.
3. Make sure that you saturate your visible roots with the colour.
4. Use a baby wipe or wet washcloth to remove excess colour on your forehead or temple areas.
5. Once you’ve touched up the exposed roots, let the colour sit for 10 minutes. (Note: If you have stubborn greys, leave it on for an additional five minutes and apply the colour in small sections rather than large ones.)

How to dye your hair at home with Garnier Olia No Ammonia Permanent Hair Dye: Always do a patch test 48 hours in advance of using any home hair dye products. Please always refer to the product for full safety instructions.

Use an old towel as permanent hair dye may stain it.

Apply moisturising cream to your hairline to avoid staining from the permanent hair dye. Hair Dye can only lighten your natural hair colour 1 to 2 levels – check the back of pack to see if it is the right hair colour shade for you. If you have long or thick hair, use two hair dye boxes. 1. Start by putting on gloves and instantly mix the colour cream and the developer cream in the applicator bottle. Shake well to mix.

• Apply the mix in sections, starting with your roots and working through to the ends.
• Leave to develop for up to 45 minutes, as stated on the instructions, depending on the result you wish to achieve.
• Rinse until the water runs clear and apply the silk and shine conditioner and rinse again.

Directions

If your hair is Dark Blonde or Darker , then Pre Lighten hair to a Light or to a Pale Blonde By Bleaching.The lighter the hair beforehand, the better the result.

Patch Test

• This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation on certain individuals.
  
• A preliminary test should be done before using the hair dye.
  
• Wash a small area of the skin behind the ear or the inner surface of the forearm.
  
• Using either soap and water or alcohol.
  
• Apply a small quantity of the hair dye to the area, and allow it to dry.
  
• Leave for uptown 24 hours, then wash with soap and water.
  
• If no skin irritations or inflammation is apparent then it is usually assumed that no hyper sensitivity to the hair dye exist.
  
• The test however should be carried out beforehand each application of the hair dye

Preparation and Usage:

• When you're ready to colour, pour the Colour Blend Formula (labelled 1) into the Colour Blend Activator (Labelled 2) and close the cap.
  
• With your gloves on, place a finger over the applicator bottle and shake.
  
• Part your hair into sections and apply colour starting at the roots, working your way to the ends.
  
• Set the timer for 25min, or 35min for stubborn greys. Do not exceed recommended time.
  
• Rinse and gloss: Apply ColourSeal Conditioning Gloss (labelled 3) to lock in shine. Save the remaining conditioner to use once a week.
